Biefer & Zgraggen’s
work is articulated around the critical analysis of our society. With the
mouvement Dada , historical mouvement born in Zürich in the context of the
after-war period, we could say that they share the refusal , the protest , the
active social criticism , the spectacular , the anti-comformism , the
provocation , the humour , the sens of derision and the poetry of attitudes and

Artists
plasticians , their works get various forms , following the aims and themes
pursued : sculptures , photographies , installations , performances , videos ,
supported by texts , dialogues , aphorisms.
With
School of art T.V. , Biefer and Zgraggen introduce us to the
world of art and his rituals. Started in 1994 , the series of seven videos
summarize and comments , always with their critical and ironical way , the
experiences accumulated at the occasion of numerous international exhibitions.
Shown at Graz , Munich , Torino , Steyr , Bologna , Hambourg , these lessons
are used as a base to discussions on the current questions of art ; they were
carried out precisely , with a view to the creation of a Bureau of counsel to artists , in the canton of Thurgau.
